BREAKING NEWS

July, 2010 - .Yutyraman team won the Independence Football Cup. Kaupelan, Tarmorya and Santoi were respectively in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.

June, 2010 - Celebration of the Golden Jubilee. Stamps were issued and a Football Cup scheduled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Kaupelanese independence. FICTS and UIEMB nations were invited to celebration.

February, 2010 - Parliament approves the increase of imported vehicle taxes from 25% to 30% in order to stimulate the usage of public transportation instead of having private cars. Six new bus lines were inaugurated n Purikali downtown.

January, 2010 - Lead by Mrs. Aswini Ruikawahi, of PMR, the new government staff took over for the next 4 years, prioritizing environmental policies. At FICTS, Kaupelan chairs the organization for the next 6 months, following the rotative process. Lowok Aralangit, former minister of foreign affairs in the government of Peter Puramèsar, was assigned to the position of secretary general. Read more.

November, 2009 - Surprisingly, the Party of Green Liberty - PMR - wins the parliamentary election, after 8 years of supremacy of the Party of the People (PH). To obtain the required majority to form the new staff, a coalition was created with other parties, including PH.

April, 2009 - King Kira II was crowned in Purikali. King Wasahi II, announced that he would abdicate in favour of his son in November 2009.

January, 2009 - Government stimulates usage of public transportation, increasing the number of subway and bus lines. On the other hand, taxes and fuel price are increased. Read more.
